About Tiffany
About
Tiffany leads care for children and young people.
Tiffany holds dual endorsement as a clinical neuropsychologist and a clinical psychologist, which means she brings together two ways of understanding a person: how their thinking and learning work, and how they are feeling and coping. She works with children, adolescents and adults, and she leads the clinic's child and adolescent service.
Families often come to Tiffany with a question about how a child is developing, learning or coping, and want to understand it without the child feeling judged. She is interested in how each child's mind actually works, including where their strengths are, not only where things are hard.

Areas of focus
What Tiffany works with
Assessment and therapy across childhood, adolescence and adulthood.
- Early childhood development. Assessment of how an infant or young child is developing, using tools designed for the very young such as the Bayley scales.
- Learning and intellectual development. Understanding how a child thinks, learns and problem-solves, using measures such as the WPPSI and WISC, and looking at everyday skills with tools such as the ABAS.
- Behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Making sense of behaviour and emotions that are worrying a family, and what would help.
- Neurodevelopmental assessment. Assessment around autism and ADHD, with a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach that respects that every brain works a little differently.
- Psychological therapy. Therapy for children, young people and adults, alongside or instead of assessment.
If you are not sure whether your child needs an assessment, therapy, or simply a conversation first, that is fine. We can help you work out the right starting point.
Approach
How Tiffany works
With younger clients, an assessment is built to feel more like an afternoon of activities than an exam, with blocks, puzzles, drawing and conversation. Tiffany works to put children at ease, so what she sees reflects how they really think and feel, not how nervous they are on the day.
Parents and carers are part of the picture throughout. You know your child better than anyone, and Tiffany works with you, explaining what she finds in everyday language and turning it into practical steps for home, school and beyond.
Tiffany has contributed to the validation of the Bayley scales with Pearson Clinical, the developmental assessment used with infants and very young children.
“Every child's mind works a little differently. The point is to understand this one.”
